Week of the Young Child (WOTYC) is fast approaching us. During the week of April 7th-10th we will be celebrating the most important aspect of what makes our lives special, children!
Monday – Celebrate the Child – We are asking our parents and staff to dress wacky tacky to celebrate the child in all the wonder they bring to us. Teachers will also be sending home letters to children.
Tuesday – Celebrate the Center – We ask if you have blue or yellow to wear those colors as they represent Northlakes Academy.
Wednesday – Community – We will be inviting community helpers to come and talk to the children about how their jobs/roles help us everyday whether seen or unseen.
Thursday – Teacher/Staff Appreciation – Wear a tie-dyed shirt to support the teachers and staff on how they are so flexible in the daily roles they play to help foster the children in their growth.
Friday – Family Friday – Wear a hat to help celebrate the family as a whole, for they are important to us, just as protecting your head from rain or sun with a hat is important to your body.
